As a Software Engineer in our Artificial Intelligence Group, your main role will be to help build the products around our AI-powered technology, transforming the Development Experience for our development community. The sky is the limit and you’ll help us get there.

We are looking for engineers who know how to build rich, high-performing, web-based applications with rich user experiences. We expect you to work with your team in designing and developing features that will be used by OutSystems developers all over the world. You will be able to work end-to-end in our platform, from the developer experience provided in our IDE to the runtime representation of each feature.

We also expect you to innovate and bring development best practices into your team while you keep looking at the upcoming technologies and frameworks.

Job Responsibilities and Expectations:

Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar. If you do not have one but you are really good (and can show it), we still want to hear from you;
  • Experience with frontend technologies such as JavaScript/Typescript, React and CSS Preprocessors (e.g. SASS)
  • Experience with OOP (e.g. using C# or equivalent) is a plus;
  • Experience with Git is a plus;
  • Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies;
  • Understanding of Machine Learning, how it works and how to integrate it in a product is a plus;
  • Experience working in a fast-moving agile team, iterating on a product with challenging technical requirements is a plus;
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English.
